She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Atkey; her sons, Paul of Orillia and Brian of Orillia; and her brother Ivan. She is survived by: her children, Loreen Hooper (Robert) of Orillia and Dale Atkey of Orillia; her grandchildren, Jeff (Jenn), Melissa, Nakeshia (Guillaume) and Emily; and her sibling Shirley (late Walter). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital - ICU Department.
