She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Terry Laughlin; her children, Janice Laughlin, Christine Walker (Tom), Kevin Laughlin (Connie) and Dwayne Laughlin (Tracey); and her siblings, Melville (Shirley), Marion Ball (late Ron), Debbie Cleaveley (Tom) and Glenda Jermey (Fred). She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Cancer Care Centre through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia.
