He was predeceased by: his siblings, Terry Smith, Warren Smith and Marianne Boland. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Thatcher; his children, Chris Anderson (Dorothy) of Etobicoke, Jamie Smith (Rina) of Oshawa and Daniel Smith (Jenn) of Washago; his grandchildren, Alyssa Anderson, Mikala, Austin, Jana Smith and Maximus Smith; and his siblings, Coleen Parish, Godfrey Smith (Eleanor), Darwin Smith (Jill Purcell), Calvin Smith (Lynn Mahaffy) and Donna Lacka (late Mike Leach).
