He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Barkey and Alice Barkey; and his brothers, Ken (Lynn) and Ray (Diane). He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Courtney (Tim) and Jessica (David); his grandchildren, Sadie, Savannah, Sebastian, Logan, Tristian, Charlie, Jonathan and Julian; his siblings, Ron (Barbara) and Gerry (Patricia); and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by his extended family, many friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1).
