He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Shaw and Myrtle Shaw; his son Robert Shaw; and his stepdaughter Sherry Lynn (Doug Ziebeth). He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Karen Shaw, Laurie Mahoney (Paul), Kenneth Shaw (Tracey) and Rhonda Shaw; his stepchildren, Wanda-Jane Peckham (David) and Crystala Ruhr (Michael); and his siblings, Dorothy Speerin and Bill Shaw. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or to the Alzheimer Society.
