He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Semmens and Rebecca Semmens; and his siblings, Patricia, Sonny, Roy, Bill, Marlene and Barrie.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Semmens (Van Wyck); his siblings-in-law, Doug Van Wyck, Shannon Stevenson, Susan Burnett (Van Wyck) and Jim Peterkin; his nephew Gregory Burnett; and his great-nephew Gavin Burnett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
