He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marjorie Martin and Peter Barton. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Hummel) of Severn; his children, Connie Black (Robert) of Brechin, Brian Barton of Orillia, Vicki Barton of Orillia, Randy Hummel of Barrie, Kimberly Hummel (Colin) of Brechin and Roy Hummel (Kerry) of Simcoe; and his brother Harold Barton of Kingston. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
