He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Lutes; and his siblings, Bill Lutes and Betty Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Marie; and his children, Barry Lutes (Colleen Mathews) of Calgary, Timothy Lutes of Barrie, Susan Mathieson (Bill) of Barrie, Janie Lee (Peter) of Ramara, Shelley Fisher (Greg) of Severn and Laurie Lutes of Barrie. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
