She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barrett (Jack) and Jessie Hammond; her husband Arthur Francis Lovell; her son Kevin (Cindy); and her siblings, Elgin, Douglas, Ilda and Irene.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah (David), Michelle (David), Valerie (Curtis), Esther, Michael and David; her grandchildren, Kevin, Carmen, Jacob, Jocelyn, Mary Frances and Poppy; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Sufian and Haroun; and her sisters, Grace Sawyer (Bill) and Pat Barrett.
