She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leo Charron; her child Brisan Shirk; her parents, Stephen Elwood Shirk and Mary Janet McNabb; her siblings, Geraldine Foley (late Joe), Bonnie Baker (Dan) and Garry; and her siblings-in-law, Madeline (Lyle), Anne and Paul (Sussie).
