Sheila Louise Light Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Sheila Louise Light (Orillia, Ontario) is shared. Sheila passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sheila will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Sheila by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sheila is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sheila’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her husband Peter F. Light; her children, Alyssa Anne Light and Peter William Light (Melissa Light); her grandchildren, Lilliana Grace Light and Peter M. Light; and her siblings, Joan Janes, William Janes and Sarah Martin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carson Funeral Home L. Doolittle Chapel (54 Coldwater St E, Orillia, ON L3V1W5).
