He was predeceased by: his father Ron Ball of Orillia; and his nibling Ryan Ball. He is survived by: his mother Marion Ball; his brothers, Allan Ball (Liz) and Michael Ball (Tracey); and his nieces and nephews, Katlin, Matthew Ball and Jamie.

“Marion, Allan, Michael I am so sorry. I was thinking today about the good times we had with Steve. Remember all camping time we had together .Then there was the times when Ronny would take his three boys and I would take my three and go camping for three or four days. I always had a good time with Steve because he was the smallest. Then there was the time of the broken garage window. One of the three boys threw a stone and broke the window. I ask who dun it .Steve says THE GOAT DID IT”
