He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter (Sonny) and Fern; and his brother David (Julie). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Brandon Connor (Tammy) and Ashley Watson (Jon); his grandchildren, Victoria, Brodie and Rose; his siblings, Paul (Mary) and Glen (Tammy); his mother-in-law Patricia Shave (Don); his sister-in-law Maureen Shave; and his family Dr. Peter Daniel.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Hospital for Sick Children and the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
