He was predeceased by : his son Brian (Sakura Torizuka). He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, Luanne (Peter Finnegan), John (Sherri) and Michael (Jacintha Wesselingh); and his grandchildren, Luanne, Brian, John and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia would be greatly appreciated.
