He was predeceased by : his former life partner Jean Ashton Thomson; his parents, Erma Thomson and Stewart Thomson; his brothers, Stewart and Ronald; and his stepson Paul Casey.

He is survived by : his wife Fern Casey-Thomson; and his stepchildren, Deborah Carbone (Mark), Sherry Morton (late Leigh), Brenda Gallino, Hidemi Phillips (Gord), Debbie Macdonell (Paul), Rick Casey (Kathleen), Reverend Cindy Casey and David Gallino. He is also survived by his many great grandchildren, grandchildren and by his many nieces and nephews.

Advanced registration is not required however all guests must supply proof of vaccination and wear a mask.
