It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Makela (Orleans, Ontario), who passed away on April 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Diane Makela; his children, Vivian (Sean Richer), Shawn, Thomas (Rachel Mainville), Lori-Ann and Madeline (Collin Hines); and his grandchildren, Priscilla, Katherine, Skyler, Amanda, Austin, Diana, Travis, Noah, Colton and Wyatt. He was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren.
