It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Poirier (Orleans, Ontario), who passed away on August 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Poirier to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Laprade and Irene Laprade (Laframboise); her children, Denis, Carolle Karsten, Susan and Mary; her grandson Derek; and her siblings, Marthe Roussey and Victor Laprade.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph Aurèle Poirier; her children, Linda (Paul Dupré) and Steve (Suzanne Desormeaux); her son-in-law Bill Karsten (Muriel Tupper); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Liana, Philip, Julie, Chantal, Meaghan and Kerry; her great grandchildren, Everly, Max, Hannah, Emma, Aiden, Lucas, Lauren, Natalie and Sarah; and her brothers, Arthur Laprade (Lucie) and Louis Laprade (late Denise).
