We announce the death of Sylvia Foley of Orleans, Ontario, who passed away on October 19, 2026. Sylvia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgina Young and Arthur Young; her former husband Bill; and her sister Norma. She is survived by: her husband Ches; her children, Kelly (Tony), Jim (Michelle) and Robert (Kelly); her brother Harvey (Arlene); her grandchildren, Jillian, Allison, Kendra, Rebecca (Chelsee), Nathan, Meaghan (Jackie) and Shaun; and her great grandchild Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Church (2557 Ch. Old Montreal Rd, Ottawa, ON K4C1A1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Dale's Cemetery (2960 Old Montréal Rd., Cumberland, ON K4C2Y7).
Donations in lieu of flowers are to be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society, The Children's Wish Foundation or St. Andrew's Church.
