Vera Lolato Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vera Ellen Ann Lolato (nee Dunham). Beloved wife of Delfino Lolato for 61 years. Loving mother of Deborah (Joseph) Henderson and Robert (Linda) Lolato. Grandmother to Ashley Henderson, Eric (Jenn) Henderson, Samantha Henderson and Alexander Lolato. Great grandmother to Jordan, James, Tristen, Emma, Gabriella and Lilly.

Friends and family may pay their respects at the Divine Infant Parish, 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans as of 10:30 am Friday November 9th, 2018. A Memorial service will be held at 11am followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Ottawa regional cancer foundation are appreciated.

The angels gathered near your side So very close to you For they knew that pain and suffering That you were going through I thought about so many things As I held tightly to your hand Oh, how I wished that you were strong And happy once again But your eyes were looking homeward To that place beyond the sky Where Jesus held his outstretched arms It was time to say good-bye I struggled with my selfish thoughts For I wanted you to stay So we could walk and talk again Like we did……just yesterday But Jesus knew the answer And I knew you loved Him so So I gave to you life's greatest gift The gift of letting go.
