With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aureen Yvonne (Jackson) Landon (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Landon; her parents, Samuel Jackson and Irene Jackson; her siblings, Marilyn Prescott (Jim) and Sam Jackson; and her grandchildren, Scott, Stacy and Bryan.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Sanderson (Frank), Bill Landon (Carol) and Judy Conquer (Allan); her grandchildren, Anna, Mary-Claire (Ian), Bevan (Katie), Elise (Chris), Kris (Jocelyn), Kelly (William), Geoffrey, James, Gabriel and Robert; and her great grandchildren, Emmy, Vernon, Russell and Summer. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Due to COVID we ask that all visitors be double vaccinated (vaccine passport and proof of identification required).

Donations in memory of Aureen can be made to Parkinson Canada, Durham Youth Services, or a charity of choice.

“To all the Landon Family ,my deepest condolences. Aureen was one of a kind. She emulated joy each time I saw her and I know she was sometimes hurting inside. At one time we only lived a few blocks away from your family (the early days on Cadillac Ave.) Over the early years there were bridal showers , baby showers, wedding and anniversaries. Always your mom along with Marilyn and the other cousins would have the greatest lunches. Keep her memories always close to your heart. Marion Dalby”
