With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara McCormack (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Gervase "Jerry"; and her siblings, Betty, Beatrice, Bob and Edmund.
She is survived by: her children, David (Trudy), Dianne, Kevin and James; her grandchildren, Ashlee, Cassandra-Lynn, Alyssa, Kyle, Liana, Bailee, Melody, Tyler and Jordan; her great grandchildren, Leah, Blayze, Abigail and Madeleine; and her sister Marjorie (Lou).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (1314 Oxford St, Oshawa, ON L1J3W6).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
