She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Townson and Lillian Townson; and her husband Robert John Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Jason, Lisa and Christopher; her siblings, William Townson (Dianne), Carole McLean (Richard), Fred Townson (Dianne) and Darrell Townson (Terry); and her significant other Stanley Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ALS Society of Canada (ALS Canada).
