She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wade and Bert Wade (Alberta); her husband William Cecil Pierson; and her siblings, May Rutter, Norma Short, Evelyn Sweetman, Doris Cole, Irma Hardy, William and Charles.

She is survived by: her daughter Gaye; her son-in-law Greg Thrasher; her son Kenneth Pierson; her daughter-in-law Margaret; her grandchildren, Lauren, Dave Perry, Brittney, Steve Tillaart, Brooke Pierson, Sarah Thrasher and Michael Menard; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Lainey, Caiden, Beau and Cam.

A private family service will be held due to Covid-19 restrictions.
