With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Tilling (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosena and Richard; and his siblings, Kenneth (Janet), Arthur (Shirley), Ronald and Donna.
He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Brough (Robert); and his sister-in-law Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A burial was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Groveside Cemetery (5155 Baldwin St S, Whitby, ON L1M1T4).
