He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his brother James Eileen. He is survived by: his child Glenn Smith; his grandsons, Eric and Matthew; his siblings, Leslie (Maureen), Billy, Suzanne (Jim), Danny (Linda), Kenny (Betty) and Bill; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Guy; and his niece Brenda Wiley.
