Edwin George Kimmins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2021, Edwin George Kimmins (Oshawa, Ontario), born in Brandon, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jackie and Terry; and his siblings-in-law, Peter King, Wilfred Czense, Andy Kawamaura and Sue.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Ted (Kimberley) of Yellowknife and Tracy (Graham) of Oshawa; his grandchildren, Connor, Heather, Emma and Jonah; his son Willard; his siblings, Kenneth, Sandra Heath (Jim), Patricia King, Cheryl Kawamaura, Michael, Scott and Kimberley Czense; and his brother-in-law Ron Welbourn (Connie).

Ted played in many SA church bands as well as The Canadian Staff Band and up until the pandemic, Heritage Brass.

If desired, donations in memory of Ted can be made to The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple or Heritage Brass.
