He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Olmstead; and his son Rick Olmstead. He is survived by: his son Darryl Olmstead; his daughters-in-law, Heather Olmstead and Patricia Olmstead; his grandchildren, Robert Olmstead, Cassandra Olmstead (Michael), Jessica Mendonca (Bradley), Dustin Olmstead (Kristie) and Courtney Desjardins (Marc); his great grandchildren, Hunter Olmstead and Lily Tan; his stepchildren, Elizabeth (Daniel) and Derek (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Joe, Kaelan and Joshua.
