It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gabriel Stephen Cosentino (Oshawa, Ontario), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean-Baptiste and Ninette Lachance. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Cosentino and Nicole Lachance; his stepparents, Danielle Broomfield and Stephen Tardif; his sister Julie Cosentino; his stepbrothers, Danny and Sebastien Breton; and his grandparents, Paul and Martha Cosentino. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Four months ago Gabriel was discharged to the care of his family and was provided with his own living space and supports at home and all of the freedom that he had yearned for so much, much of which had been compromised by the pandemic.
