He was predeceased by: his father George W. H. Mitchell; and his sister Sandra Flintoff. He is survived by: his mother Anna; and his siblings, Wendy Kennedy (Harvey), Gail Hoskin, Brenda Kloostra (Simon) and Tony Mitchell (Nicolette). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
