He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Savignano and Giovanni Savignano; his wife Iolanda; his brothers, Mario (late Carmela) and Elio (late Lucia); and his brothers-in-law, Giovanni Alessio Volpe and Mario Volpe.
He is survived by: his son John; and his sisters-in-law, Maria Cavallari (late Michele) and Anna Braccia (Arnoldo). He is also survived by his extended family, including his brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many dear relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (214 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1G4S9). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
