We announce the death of Gloria McCormick (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 19, 2026. Gloria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gloria will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Gloria will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Gloria’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Nancy Truax (Marty), Patricia McCormick (Tim) and Jennifer McCormick; her grandchildren, Adam, Amanda and Asher; and her sibling Sterling.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Gertrude's Parish (690 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1G5).
