He is survived by : his wife Barbara Hiemstra (Herrema); his daughters, Yvonne Hiemstra (Michael) and Joanne Brown; his granddaughter Kayla (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Sabrina, Leighton and KoraLynn. He is also survived by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4).
