He is survived by: his wife Anneliese; his former wife Anna; his child Bernd; his great grandchild Kaiden; and his children, Monica Ottinger (Terry Schriver), Connie Pugliese (Bill Kendrick), Brigitte Dewar of Barrie, ON and Bernhard Ottinger (Hildegard).

Mr. Ottinger was always a good friend to my parents . When our own Dad was dying, Heinz always visited him in hospital.
