She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Alex Risnyk; her children, Susan Risnyk (Joseph Smith) and Paul Risnyk; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew and Travis; her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Belle; her siblings, Doris "Dorie" Christensen and Madeline Henderson; and her siblings' children, Joan Gajadharsing and Mary-Ellen Atkinson.
