We announce the death of Helmut Selent (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on October 6, 2026. Helmut’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Elvin and Leo. He is survived by: his sister Frieda Jauch (late Adolf); his nephews, Richard, Dave, Gary and John; his niece Cathy; his great-nephew Tyler; his great-niece Sarah; and his friends, Jeff Grof and Brian Plumbtree.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (760 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L3).
