It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Ann Dyas (Oshawa, Ontario), born in Trout Creek, Ontario, who passed away on October 30, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Holtforster and Mary-Ellen Holtforster; and her siblings, Mary Salter, Loretta Kelly, Theresa Mosier, Joan Legree, Marg Tkaczuk, Joseph Holtforster, Veronica Murray and Ann Prout.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Dyas; her children, Susan (Danny), Jane, Denise (Paul) and Tom; her grandchildren, Jennifer (John), Renee (Todd), Amanda (Ralph), Tori (Stuart), Cole, Lucas, Monica, Kendra, Lyndon (Sarah) and Dillon; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Max, Ryleigh, Morgandy, Caitlin, Henry, William, Hannah, Hazel and Quinn; and her daughter Joan Goverde (late Martin). She is also survived by family, and her many nieces and nephews.
