She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Hill and Leonard Hill; her brothers, Albert and Murray Hill; her children, Christina (John Tran), Gail (late Norman Selbie), David Shankland (Sandra), Terry Shankland, Douglas Shankland, Kerry Ann (Brian Grills) and Patty (Harry Shermet); her grandchildren, Christina, Lori, Lisa, Davie, Phil, Wes, Casey, Kara, Clayton, Matthew, Aimee and Ashlee; her great grandchildren, Erica, Colin, Patrick, Sydney, Sam, Dylan, Mackenzie, Jordan, Nathan, Liam, Ella, Emmerson, Holland, Karlee, Karson and Savanah; her great great grandchild Madalena; her sister Carol Barnett; and her sisters-in-law, Eileen MacDonald and Margery Shankland. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid and being mindful of a safe community a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
