It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Isabel Spence (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Downer and Dorothy Downer of Peterborough, Ontario.; her husband Bernard Lloyd Spence; her siblings, Terry (late Carol), Butch Downer (late Brenda), Joyce Syers (John) of Peterborough and Beverly Biggs (late Terry) of Peterborough; and her child Terry Spence (Susan).
She is survived by: her sisters, Carol Richard (Larry) and Susan White (late Ron); her children, Cheryl Miles (Dwayne), Brian Spence (Sandy), Linda Hamilton (Randy) and Wendy Spence (Shane Gylytiuk); and her grandchildren, Kyle, Melissa, Jessica, Courtney, Shawna, Lauren, Sarah, Matthew, Cheyenne, Brooklyn and Jordan (late Benjamin). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Union Cemetery (760 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L3).
