Jill Anne Etcher (nee Ormiston)
October 5th 1951 – September 12th 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Anne Etcher.
Jill Anne Etcher is survived by her sons, Daniel (Milka) Etcher and Jonathan Etcher; and granddaughter, Skylar Etcher.
Born in Bowmanville, ON in 1951, Jill Etcher was the second youngest of four children and is survived by her older brother Wayne (Sandy) Ormiston, and her older sister Sharon (Gord) Laing. Jill was a distinguished elementary school teacher, serving the Durham Region School Board for 36 dedicated years. Jill will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, colleagues and the Ridgway gang.
A celebration of life will be held for Jill on Saturday, October 13th at 1:30pm in Oshawa at the Life Point Church (formerly known as Harmony United Church) 15 Harmony Road, North.
