She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Ritchie and Margaret Ritchie. She is survived by: her husband Allison Wayne Bowness; her sisters-in-law, Lynda Leard (Alan), Evelyn Ramsey and Revada Bowness; and also, George, Dorothy, Marie, Lois, Keith, Herbert, Byron and Doreen.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trillium Trails (53 Snow Ridge Ct, Oshawa, ON L1H0S5).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Care Durham or Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham.
