She was predeceased by: her siblings, William, George, Tony, Helen, Mary, Albert and John.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her sons, Franklin (Birgitte), Albert and Robert; her grandchildren, Raymond, Charles, Douglas, Alec, Kirsten, William and Philippa; and her sister Trudy. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Joan's many years of assistance to those in need would be honoured by donations to the food bank at Simcoe Hall Settlement House.
