In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ron Windling; her friend Robert Bryon; her children, Michael Windling (Ann) of Deseronto, Cheryl (Robert) of Komoka and John (Cheryl) of Temecula, California.; and her close friend Jan Gouin. She was also cherished by Nanny to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Joan to Canadian Cancer Society and Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
