He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Eva; and his brothers, Bill (Carolyn), Donald and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Karen), Shelley and David; his grandchildren, Nicole (Nathan), Melissa, Ryan (Kayla), Brittany and Tyler (Kellie); his friend Carolyn; his siblings, Bev (late Keith) and Trudy (Dave); and his sister-in-law Joan.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
