John Peter Holowaty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Peter Holowaty (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Holowaty and Peter Holowaty; his brother Benjamin Holowaty; his siblings-in-law, Olga Holowaty and Patrick McAvoy; his sibling's children, Patricia Cooper and David Holowaty; his parents-in-law, Ursula Gangemi and James Gangemi; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Gangemi and Gayle Gangemi.

He is survived by: his wife Philomena; his daughter Karyn Gibney; his son-in-law Brendan Gibney; his grandchildren, Paige and Colin; his sister Mary McAoy; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Gangemi, Josephine Gangemi, Lou Suszek and Gina Tass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
