John Stanley Planeta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Stanley Planeta of Oshawa, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Dobos (Kay); and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his sister Adele; his children, John (Linda), Michelle Flynn and Karen Amell (Derek); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Matt, Chris, Michael, Shannon, Sydney and Luke. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
After COVID, John sold the home he built and lived in his entire adult life on Park Road N. and moved into Bloom Oshawa Retirement Community.
