He was predeceased by his spouse Veronika, his siblings, Miha, Mirko, Polde, Stanko and Pepca; and his parents, Joze and Marija.
He is survived by his children, John (Virginia), Andrej, Peter and Stan; his grandchild Karissa; his great grandchild William; and his sisters, Minka, Rezka, Anica and Malka. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
