He was predeceased by: his wife Grace. He is survived by: his children, Campbell, Evelyn, Kerr (Maureen) and Andrew (Nancy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and had the joy of many great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or the Diabetes Association in his honour.
