He is survived by: his wife Paula Elfriede; his children, Bruno (Darlene) of Caesarea, Esther (Mikko Vesa) of Newcastle, Angelika Burns (Barry Nutley) of Lindsay, Bill (Valerie) of Bath and David (Kimberley) of Port Sydney; and his sister Klara Bergant of Pickering. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
