It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Gibbs (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth Gibbs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne; his parents, Louella Gibbs and Stanley Gibbs; and his sisters, Sybil and Betty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Fruin (Paul) and Susan Battams (Norman Sr.); his grandchildren, Tyler (Leah), Natasha (Yousef), Madison (Kenny), Dacota, Norman Jr. and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Maison, Jayce, Amira and Levon. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry, in his memory.
