He was predeceased by: his wife Roxanne McDiarmid; his children, Kirk McDiarmid and Karen McDiarmid; his parents, Olive McDiarmid and Clifford McDiarmid; and his brother-in-law Barry.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Ayotte (Andy); his grandchildren, Michael (Laura) and Stephanie; his close friend Gail McDonald; his sister-in-law Adrianne Taylor; his nephews, Steve (Val) and Jonathan (Sandy); and his niece Lisa (Murray).
